Recoilless Firearm for Unmanned Systems

What can a recoilless machine gun do to an unmanned weapon system? By eliminating recoil, a recoilless automatic firearm permits a robotic warrior(a robot bird or dog, for example) to maintain a stable cone of fire. This ability transforms the weapon holder from a sniper/sharp-shooter into a skilled machine gunner (time to brush up on your Machine Gunnery Theory?). How can you tell whether a machine gun has zero recoil? You suspend the gun in the air, or in space if you are out-of-this-world ambitious, and then you shoot it, no hands, to see how much/little the gun moves. That is exactly what we did (not in space of course) with our first product offering – a zero recoil submachine gun. In this case, we mounted the gun on a dummy 10 lb. drone and hung the combo on 4 thin strings to simulate a hovering UAV. The results can be seen in the video. Zero recoil and some vibrations. Granted, the shooting vibration was more than camera picture taking. On the other hand, a gun does not need to be as steady as a camera to be effective, especially when the drone is blasting, instead of simply sniping, a target. Is it possible to integrate a zero recoil submachine gun into a small UAV (FPV or otherwise) and turn it into a fighter-attack drone? Shot grouping data are available upon request.
